You can't negotiate what you can't read. Week 6 we mark up a real contract using the §7 Essentials checklist — even if you have to use a sample.
Every contract has 7 essentials: parties, scope, money, term, IP, exclusivity/non-compete, exit. Master that frame and you can read a Universal Music deal, a producer agreement, a SaaS subscription, or a real-estate offer with the same eye. By the end of Week 6 you've redlined an actual document and noted the 7 questions you'd ask before signing.
Pull a real contract you've previously signed (or download a sample producer agreement, SaaS terms, or co-founder agreement). Mark it up: highlight every §7 Essential, note what's missing, write 5 redline counter-proposals.
